Hiya guys! I'm in Poland right now. Can you believe it?! I've been here for about 3 or 4 days and before that I spent 2 days in Amsterdam, Holland the porno hub. Prostitution and gay marriage is legal their and every where you turned was gay couples. My family and I also happened to "accidentaly" walk into the red light district. In truth my parents and their friends who were staying with us wanted to get a picture of themselves by the sighns saying 'sex shop'. Ironically there was a lot of cheap resturaunts there too for those that are hungry from all that sex. There was also alot of mushroom shops. The special kind of mushrooms. Even out side of the red light district you could go to any coffee shop and get drugs and do them right there. It was interesting... All the guys were hot and gay..sigh...figures. Anyway, I'll be off to Medjugorje, Croatia in four days to go on a week of spiritual pilgramiging. Right after witnessing all that porn too. I've never seen so many different naked women in all my life! You can go into a magazine shop and there it is BAM!!! right there where children can see it. Wow, I'm really stuck on this subject aren't I? It's just such a culture shock. But while in Amsterdam I got to go to there most famous museum, the Rikesmuseum. It was really beautiful and there was many famous paintings their including 'The Woman with the Pearl Earring.' Or something like that. Just yesterday i went to see Malbork the oldest brick castle in the world. We got to learn the history and it was very interesting and the place itself was very impressive and beautiful. I'm learning a lot about the culture and language here and I'm also looking out for the art and architecture of this country so wish me luck! Maybe I'll make another entry later about the food, music, and other culture ref. here as well.

I graduate officially tomorrow. The thought of it makes me feel tired, relieved, and very very anxious all at once. In other words I'd be a complete mess if I wasn't the laid back type. I think my personality is the only thing keeping me from having a nervous breakdown... That must sound really weird but oh well. I'm looking forward to project graduation. Directly after that, next weekend, I'm going to A-Kon in Dallas. It's going to be a blast! I' really looking forward to it. Everyone from the good old days will be there; Purrin-chan, K-chan, Tiffy-chan, Samu-chan, Kitty-san, and even the old master Karen-sama. She cut her hair especially for a cosplay at the con! Sounds just like her. I hope I see a lot more of my friends there too. And what's more I'm going to Poland the week after on the 7th. It's going to be awesome!!! Then I'm going to Croatia and Amsterdam! I'll be visiting the Van Gouge museum in Amsterdam and that'll make my trip!! I'm pretty stoked, even more so than over graduating. Or maybe not...It depends on my mood I guess. On a different note, yet not so different, I'm re-reading the Harry Potter series in preparation for the fifth movie and the last book. I've been all fired up ever since I saw the theatrical trailer at a Spiderman 3 showing, which was awesome by the way. You can see the trailer at the official teaser website…
It looks a lot more action packed and intense. But it doesn't look to true to the books so far. I'm not sure if I even care anymore, as long as it makes a good movie. I'm done with worrying painstakingly over stuff that doesn't directly effect my life or the ones I love. I guess that's my crazy personality for ya. Well I'm tired and I'll have bags under my eyes for graduation so I best be off! Wish me good luck! I'll be going to Ringling College of Art and Design in August which will totally change my life! Good luck with yours!

Anyone who can handle massive heartbreak, depression, and uplifting please read Where The Heart Is by Billie Letts. Please please read it, I don't care if you've seen the movie, you have to read the book. I got it for an assignment for AP English last week and I read the summery and I found the summery uninteresting so I put off reading it until the night before our first reading check to page 63. I started to read it and found that I could not put the book down. I was forced to stop at page 179 due to severe need for sleep. I finished it the next day. It was a quick read, easy language, and it speaks to your soul, to your heart. The story was more than just compelling and entertaining. I read it fast not just because I wanted to see what happened next. I sped read because I wanted to see what would happen next to the CHARACTERS, what they would do, how they'd react, what they'd feel, and how they would grow. You should all read it, and if you do and don't like it then I pray for you.

Aaaah portfolios are due this coming Monday and I still have to do at LEAST one more consentration piece. I've finished 3 in the past week in a total freenzy. I'm totally sleep deprived. Now I'm failing one class that I neglected because of it. Ughhh, he called home about it too, my teacher I mean. I'm now trying to balance it out but now is the time I should be really buckling down for my portfolio. And on top of that I'm totally recieving waves of inspiration and motivation to make anime art right now with actual backgrounds and cool poses but I have zer0 time. @_@ I pray to God every night to give me speed, quality, and health. Please pray for me! I'm trying really hard to not sacrifice quality for quantity. So, the genius I am, I'm useing all the mediums that I'm quick at. Like scratchboard and pen and ink. Which I'm am suprised to find that most people think that scratchboard is tedious, hard, and slow work. I find it entirly the opposite. I guess it takes a steady learned hand and persision. You have to know what your going to do before you do it. Consideration of the style and treatment of line is what I believe to be most important in scratchboard and pen. For instance line weight, hatching, cross-hatching, stinsiling, pointilism, curving/contour lines, etc. Depends on your style and what would be most effective. I guess that's why I love it so much. I love the study of line. I'm such a cartoonist at heart.

I just got accepted into Ringling School of Art and Design! It's like a dream come true. I had practically resigned myself to not getting in. I'm really happy but my dad didn't really make a big deal about it or anything. But today he acted all happy, gave me a very rare hug, and told me that he had never been prouder of me because I had brought in the trash can and recycling bin without being told to. That frickin' sarcastic b@$!@*#!!!!! I'm soooo happy Ringlings' in Florida and my parents safely tucked away in Texas.
