Hiya guys! I'm in Poland right now. Can you believe it?! I've been here for about 3 or 4 days and before that I spent 2 days in Amsterdam, Holland the porno hub. Prostitution and gay marriage is legal their and every where you turned was gay couples. My family and I also happened to "accidentaly" walk into the red light district. In truth my parents and their friends who were staying with us wanted to get a picture of themselves by the sighns saying 'sex shop'. Ironically there was a lot of cheap resturaunts there too for those that are hungry from all that sex. There was also alot of mushroom shops. The special kind of mushrooms. Even out side of the red light district you could go to any coffee shop and get drugs and do them right there. It was interesting... All the guys were hot and gay..sigh...figures. Anyway, I'll be off to Medjugorje, Croatia in four days to go on a week of spiritual pilgramiging. Right after witnessing all that porn too. I've never seen so many different naked women in all my life!You can go into a magazine shop and there it is BAM!!! right there where children can see it. Wow, I'm really stuck on this subject aren't I? It's just such a culture shock. But while in Amsterdam I got to go to there most famous museum, the Rikesmuseum. It was really beautiful and there was many famous paintings their including 'The Woman with the Pearl Earring.' Or something like that. Just yesterday i went to see Malbork the oldest brick castle in the world. We got to learn the history and it was very interesting and the place itself was very impressive and beautiful. I'm learning a lot about the culture and language here and I'm also looking out for the art and architecture of this country so wish me luck! Maybe I'll make another entry later about the food, music, and other culture ref. here as well.
